Thank you all soooo much. This tread has been EXTREMELY informative for me, and a perfect example of why I love PJ so much... now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Hey thats cool about the brush pen , never knew that.

Pitts are currently my favorite as well. It gives a really dark line on the board.

I use both, I like rapidographs for the straight lines and varying width but they do snag and you gotta clean em, never use acetone on em, i melted my smallest diameter pen once, like melted cheese melted.

I like microns more cause of the ease of use, get up and go, damn rapidographs, I felt like I was refilling em every 5 mins.

I just picked up a 4 pack of Staedtler 0.4 mm liquid point 7's and I like em!!! nice thin consistent line..if you're rapidograph is anykind of dirty the line will break.

BTW Faber Castell just released there new Pitt set, it has 3 new pens.

Pitt pens are the only ones to use India ink , I believe.

SC = 1- 3 mm, pretty much a fill in black felt tip pen. very good

SB = 0.5 - 5 mm . A better brush then the B, it will give you thinner lines

1,5 = 1.5 mm fixed pen. great for borders, word balloons etc..

The sets are around 10 bucks on amazon, come with all the original pens . XS, S, F, M, B, and the 3 new pens SC, SB, 1,5
