Inks

Here are my inks which are really just a spotted black, I take them a step further by washing grey over the image for a mid tone and then render in white pencil.

I just saw that I drew his face and the mask, so I'll need to edit out a bit of the nose and lips in the inks.

Love the graphic element in the BG, really sharp stuff!

NICE use of blacks. You're doing great. I think giving him a thinner build is fine. I would watch how the line of his cape on the right comes down. Even if his arm is under the cape, make sure you could draw his body under there.

I like it. One small crit though. I can't tell what's going on with his left arm (It appears that he doesn't have one to me) The overall design and execution is nice though, and I really dig the way you've used the floral pattern design as the backdrop.
