Conan Pummel Wip!

Getting stuff together for my PUMMEL ranked match against Ballpoint. I saw him REALLY bring it against Pop in their streetfight so I'm psyched to see what he's got for me.

Anyway, the topic is Conan (the barbarian, not the late night host). I've done my research, read some of the newer dark horse book and sketched out the character some.

I'm doing pages because I want practice and I also want to make something really epic that takes more than 2 seconds to look at.

Pretty awesome my man ... well layed out ... though in third and fourth panel Conan MAY be a bit small in proportions compared the heavy set jawed individual you have in the inlay pannel.

Shaping up to be really nice. Only thing I see is the girl in panel 3 appears to be TOO small. I could be wrong though, since I don't know how large your Conan is.

Break the panel.. I would break it up top with the orb and down at the bottom...

Hmm he is large-ish but I will revise that tomorrow.

Panel 1 is awesome and dynamic. Really nice layout!

Only notes are: Conan's jaw in panel 2 looks a little wide and his face looks extremely swollen in panel 4.

Thank you! Glad someone mentioned the tree! I drew a bunch of busy vines but then I blacked them out for the dramatic effect. And yeh yeh I will fix the faces lol
