No. Not as in french comics. Actually, the only french comic I've seen is the one EraserX magnificently colored, and it looks nothing like this. Anyway, when I said french, I guess I meant Renoir-ish. The way he does his gatherings. It is busy, full of motion, and character. Good stuff.

That page with the smoke borders is fantastic! I can't wait to see this finished. I'm curious as to how long it takes you to complete a page this detailed. It's like a Where's Waldo book. I love it!
