So, I ended up finishing my submisison off and sending it in! Man, that was a lot of re-iterations of the first page. I'm pretty happy with what I sent in, with the exception of page 6 which is a freakin mess to me, and parts of page 3 that looks too clumsy. But, time's up, and I'm happy I managed to wrap it up and send it in before I got tired of reworking pages and rethinking stuff.

joakimhagstrom well done! i've been meaning to comment on your stuff more man! the improvement you've show on these pages alone is really inspiring and taking on board the crits and reworking the pages has really lead to some great pages man! good luck with the competition, but also know, if you keep drawing and working on these things you're going to be well on your way to getting work without the competition!

Yeah, I really don't expect to win the competition, I just saw it as a chance to sharpen my skills! And with the crits and reworking, man it's the only way to grow innit? It's so grindy and sucky to stuff work away and start over, but it gives a lot in terms of improvement.
And thanks for the encouragement! Getting more paid work with my art would be awesome, but I'm also immensely happy to just keep drawing and improving and seeing my stuff get into print. But who knows, one day! Gotta work towards that Batman one-shot!

Thanks man! A-class is the goal for sure, gotta sharpen out the whimsical lines and postures out of my panels, get it down to the essential awesome… give me another year and I’ll show y’all some real tight work!

Wow man they are some great pages! love the action and the amount of background in some of them panels! only 2 things are throwing me, the board in front of her face as she is jumping in the manhole and the lighting bolt on her chest wasnt consist in all the pages. Is that suppose to be Ripclaws arm at the end? with the extra spikes.
