Hey Jake. Love this thread, just been through everything on here. For someone who wants to do comic panels this is super inspiring. The way you draw people interacting is amazing, and I love the experssions and body language you use, you can tell you're super confident drawing hands. Keep posting dude!

I am so glad you are inspired by my works. I too have been inspired by other artists when I first started making sequential pages. just keep at it. you will get to the place where you want your art to be with lots of practice.

      thank you!

Something to consider (and I may be mis-reading or falsely attributing values) This and post 89 strike as more Eastern characters than Western. You may want to flop the curve of the swords Samurai style rather than the American Cavalry curve.

yeah, I will consider your suggestion about the curve of the sword.

Awesome last post Jake. The whole page has a really nice flow to it. I love the 3rd and 7th panel. I have a question, how techncal do you get with the perspective when you're doing your under-drawings for these panels? Everything seems so well related, but also not stiff or too laboured.

thank you so much! for those specific panels I just winged it. it's maybe years of just drawing these pages. but I must say that when I first started out, I had to rely on vanishing points on almost all my panels. like on the page below.

I remember when I first wanted to learn Perspective for my panels, when I go out of the house I would analyze how buildings looked from my point of view to the point that I would imagine their vanishing lines for every edge of the building. it was a commitment on my part to be good at it I guess.
