So.. dude ... Given your most recent work, and your GREAT attitude I decided to swing by and give your blog a look, and .... DUDE your work has some serious energy, I am envious really. I love yourgestures and how your figures flow. Now, with that being said you have a couple of things that you do often that I wanted to address. So I picked this piece to show them
1) you need to fully plan out your layout before you start to throw in your details. You said it yourself with this piece, and there is no mistaking how important it is. I have a piece that I must have redrawn one character 30 times before I was satisfied with it, and that he fit in the frame.
2) if you have to crop a figure do every thing you can to avoid cropping it oat a joint. I have NO idea why, but as you can see in this pic it gives the impression that your figure is anchored in the frame, and costs you loads of figure energy.
Now these are two things that you can change fairly easily and quickly. I want to give your blog another once over because I am sure there was more, but for now just know that you have a new fan, and keep drawing.
P.S if you check out my blog sometime you will see I got almost all of the same advice at one point. Cheers.
