I like especially this last Wolverine because I can see a Mignola vibe that is good in your drawings. You have to understand better how to put shadows on body though because they're not well put in your wolvie
yeah, shadows are definitely something im trying to work on! especially around the legs and feet as i never used to draw those so i don't understand their structure as well as i do the upper body (which im also still learning!)! cheers for the reply and the positive words!
finally threw some pencils down on some comic artboards! having spent my life drawing images too small, when given more space to work i draw too big! ha! had planned to put in a sentinel head being held up! whoops! next time!
just too show that i'm not being lazy! still sketching as much as possible! have gotten into the habit of sketching with a marker, moving onto a 2h pencil and then "finishing" the sketch with a 2b! seems to work for me! keeping a bit more of the energy of my sketches...at least...i hope i am...
as always any and all crits are welcome! thanks for looking!
i "see" drawings in my head in the less realistic style and yet when it comes to drawing i get so bogged down with what's "right" i think i lose the energy! thanks for the encouragement! keep posted for more like the last one! cheers for checking back in by the way! always gives me a boost to get feed back!
on the wolvie pic I like especially the way you drew his right shoulder where we can see you know how anatomy is on that specific part, but you kept the line really simple.
It seems you draw the lower part of the pelvic area a bit too short and your legs are a bit too long instead.
