I knew you would like the pic - it has a tiny bit of a "Morgian vibe" :-) Thanks for the compliment, mate.

I suffered a Deja Vu last week - i.e. I slipped with my bike at the exact same spot where I slipped last year. Last round about before work, cc 100m from the gates. It just going to turn into my nemesis. Anyway, I hit my hand badly and it hurt too much for drawing so I missed more than a week. Plus I was off the Graz on training through the week, which not just allowed me to sample Austrian brewery products, but also to party with a couple of my best friends, not seen for ages. So it balanced the pain, while kept me from scanning my former doodles leading to a bigger flood now.
WSG drawings:
Booster Gold
Hiragana Seishin, Sumo Exorcist with his sacred coffee:-)
A knight in training - no ref, but I feel it a bit childish style-wise. I wanted a rough appearance...
Doodles, plus a Timm replica:

And a few from a more realistic style.
An interesting pose from the artsy pose site. I ran out of steam half way through, so no legs...
Jaime Pressly likeness - I really liked her a good ten years ago, plus Morg knocks in every now and then and I'm pretty sure he always likes to see her:-) It was a bit slow, iterative progress to draw her and I just couldn't sort out her right eye and had enough off that struggle after a while.
When I caught site of a poster of the new season of Spartacus not so long ago, I had to realise that the main actor had changed. Having known about Andy Whitfield's cancer, I feared the worst, and soon learned that he passed last September. Following that I decided to honour his memory and draw him:

A few busy weeks, not much time to finish drawings or post... The only excuse is that I turned 30 last weekSo there were a few drinks during the week and a preparation to a massive party on Saturday. I had 33 people around and managed to feed all of them with goulash.:-) I needed to hire a massive cooking pot from a catering shop and also got help from fellow Hungarians, else I would have never managed it.
Anyways:
Milla Jovovich as Leeloo for WSG #248. Not too bad but something is still amiss:
Moebius in memoriam in WSG #250. As he passed Sean called for rememberence drawings this week. And this is how I met his art - he was a real great artist. A simplified Starwatcher:
And photo referenced sketches:

Busy weeks... I was off to France for skiing with the guys in the last week of March, having an awesome holiday: up on the mountains, sliding in the snow... under the scorching French sun:-) It was 20centigrade through the week, amazingly warm. But really joyful and in the end I managed to get to an ejoyable level with snowboarding*. Then the Easter long weekend, which originally had seemed completely blank, turned into something amazingly busy and found myself travelling to London, then to York and Nottingham. Only release came this weekend with only the 10k Regency Run today:-)
All in all I managed to use the weekend well and got a few drawings done for the current WSG and the two I missed.
Baron Cimetier, WSG #252:
Mary-Jane-in-Venom, WSG 253. I used ref for the pose, but just to excuse myself it was a guy whom I turned to the She-Venom. (mustn't say I really like how she turned out):
Albany Jennings, WSG #254. No ref at all, and still a not too bad foreshortening (thou the piercing in the nose looks more like a bloody big nostril:-)
Start Sapphire, WSG #254 - just to practice that style a bit as well:
And a sketch inspired by my current reading, the His Dark Materials Trilogy (The Golden Compass)

Two WSG pieces:
Gully from Battle Chasers. I don't really like the head, but again I didn't put in the proper effort there to get Madureira's Gully-look. Didn't want to copy thou, so I'm happy with the rest as there was no direct ref.
"Angelina Jolly", a redesign for the D.C. universe. I wanted to see how good likeness I can bring in just lines, but still ended up with a bit of extra rendering, which sort of off-balances the pic :-/. Plus the paints and the rubbish hair work pretty much against the likeness, but hopefully still not too bad. Rest is non-ref. Bats and the entire right part could use some think-over and redo.

Just to post something this week (as I haven't got around to do a new a WSG piece), here is an apple. Yeah, I started learning digi painting again, this time in a bit more earnest - i.e. I try to follow tutorials to learn the basics. I'm pleasedwith how that apple turned out, but comparing it to that in the tut it's a bit clumsy...

The digital paints looks especially nice. Good work from the ref pieces, too. Keep it up.
