To be honest man, its just going to take practice.. grab some magazines and start copying people.

I would start by breaking the body parts down into simple shapes, circles, squares, cylinders until you are comfortable with the foundation of the human body, this way you can get proportions correct, THEN start drawing the details into those shapes..

You need to grab a How to draw book, like drawing the marvel way, read the book and practice each chapter..You wll only get better this way.

If you just copy stuff you may not grasp the "why" behind the "how" of drawing.

exactly...though by studying artists you like you can take things away that they do to help your drawing..

like I draw from Jim lee, Finch, Bart Sears and a few others when doing certain things,its more about Style/rendering imitation than learning "how" to draw.

Bought this book last week http://www.amazon.com/Figure-Drawing...ref=pd_sim_b_1 and so far I like it, hoping it will help me get better. And of course I'm trying to analyze other illustrators as often as possible.

Looks like a good book, its really hard to go wrong with just about any anatomy book, they all are pretty close to the same sutff.

Ya, really trying to work on my anatomy, but it's hard...there's so much to it. But like you said Pigeon, it takes time ad dedication...it's as simple as that.
