Very nice work! I don't have any critiques as your colors are way beyond me, but I do have a couple of questions. First: how many layers do you have for the colors on an illustration like this? Your colors are smooth without the image going flat. When I get the shading and gradients in my own colors smoothed out, my illustrations quickly lose depth and form and look flat. Are you using an airbrush tool or a blender to get the transition between colors and tones so smooth?

As many layers as needed, but I collapse them as I work on different sections. Generally lets say about 4 layers for a face and 2-3 for other bits.
I use custom made gradients in the gradient tool, the brush tool set to diffiuse airbrush settings and a hell of a lot of the smudge tool using the same brushes. Highlight layers are set to screen mode.
