This piece was my entry to November's edition of the PUMMEL section of the forum. I recently started participating, hoping to draw all kinds of different characters and to just squeeze in more time for practice and for improvement. Star Wars was the topic of choice for my opponent and I and here is my entry. I'm shying away little by little from using strictly cross-hatching and parallel lines for the shading and I think I'm making some progress, maybe. I'd like to hear your opinions about this piece and thanks again for the feedback. Have a great one!!

My only criticism here is with the shading he looks slightly fluffy/furry. Admittedly I've only ever seen Grandpa Yoda and Baby Yoda, so I dunno if they ever have fur between those two stages.

Yeah, his skin texture is difficult to pull off, plus that effect the ink pen gave didn't help, lol. This is intended to be the Grandpa Yoda we all know and love, so I was going for wrinkly skin here, but I didn't quite pull that off. Thanks for your feedback!
