  • A couple of snowy drawings

    work got canceled on Saturday so I doodled these. threw some colors on 'em today. hope you dig! these are for a story i'm working on, hopefully it sees the light of day someday!

        Dave, I'm really responding favorably to this new (to me) look. It's still similar enough in style to your previous work, but different enough that it's actually evoking some good vibes from me. Keep that graphite moving, man!

            The first one especially has a nice feel to it, I like it how you can feel the scale and distance Although I would work on the design a bit, I think. The buildings look old but the windows are like something from a modern office building - large and made of single panes of glass. Check out this window here:
            Besides, the climate is apparently cold here, but the windows they have are huge, judging by the figures behind them. They're not very practical as it would be difficult to keep such houses warm. I'm no architect but these things caught my attention

              thanks man! i appreciate it very much! the original art is a doodle in my sketchbook so when this scenario happens in the actual book (if I get that far haha), I'll grab a ton of reference to avoid this kind of mistake!
