It took me quite a while to realise that this blue blob in the bottom left corner was a cup. At first I thought it was the head and shoulders of some kind of spotty blue monster.
I know from your poll post that this was meant to be 'ghosts having tea' in a tornado or something similar. I'm not sure that thats clear just from looking at the image though. I can see a chair - and then what 'could be' a table - but....hmmm.
How do YOU feel this turned out?
I like the whirling energy of the image - but I think that the elements 'within the tornado' could be more identifiable. Instead of conveying your original intent -- its become an almost 'abstract' piece. There's nothing wrong with that - if thats what was intended -- but its certainly not what I expected to see.
I intended for it to be atleast semi abstract to give it more of that CD cover feel. So yes it is ghosts having tea in a tornado but it wasnt quite meant to be very clear either, its sort of meant to be like if you analyze it then you could come to that conclusion that type of thing.

I can hardly be a judge of abstract art. But I can say the boldness of it would make me take a second/closer look. So I'd say, as an artist, you've done your job.
