Thank you for the offer, but there's no need for that. Maybe I did take it too much to heart. Looking at it the next day with a cool head, I probably overreacted. Maybe it's because you are such an important figure on these forums, but I honestly would have preferred a note saying "you were rude to me".

I really was trying to make a point regarding whether it is important to be realistically accurate in a semi-abstract art-deco piece, but it all got lost in my (lack of) manners and then it became this.

Just a couple more color comps, nothing incredibly interesting, but kind of pleasant to look at. I like the islands piece, I'll probably continue to make some more in the same vein.

Here's an establishing shot for my Sr. Project animation, about an owl and a squirrel. The focal point is the owl on top of the "hero tree," and will be the focus of a zoom (in the animation).
