Veritas71 - thank you for your feedback all great suggestions. i thought the left side looked too empty but didnt change the light on her, and the horizontal line for the hammer makes it boring and doesnt add anything. i think you said you use manga studio to draw. have you tried these brushes? http://roastedstix.deviantart.com/ar...-v-2-613973487

Bruce Lee- thanks, these are great points. without out the head of the hammer someone not knowing her wouldnt know what it is. thanks for the encouragement also

If you're going to draw Harley's hammer in the shot, you need to show the head of it in there someplace. A horizontal bar just isn't enough visual information. There's no need to be ambiguous about it, so show a little more of the actual mallet.

I agree with Veritas71 regarding the lighting. She needs to have some rim lighting on the back of her right arm, on the back of her head, neck, etc. Fire is going to be reflecting light from all over. Your actually execution of the lighting is otherwise very nice. The color rendering is really nice. You have a nack for that.

Nice rendering. I might tilt the hammer a bit. The hammer head is heavy, adding an angle would help sell the weight. Also, I would limit the fire to the right of Harley. Either that or even out the backlight from the fire all over her, not just her front.
