Still my 2 favourite xmen. I did these pretty quick so they are a bit rough in places but i had a lot of fun drawing both of these.

Both are great, Robert. My two favorite X-men as well, by a long shot (no pun intended).

Great stuff as always! Interesting to see a slightly different line style from you -- a little less lush and "brushy".

Rogue's head looks a little squashed down into her shoulders.

Your stuff always inspire me, hope you dont mind me messing with your art. Maybe leaning the head a bit towards us would work better? Love the wolverine expression.

ahh orphangrinder i think your right about her neck not being long enough, Josems draw over fixes that, which i really like, Josem do u use a tablet or cintique for inking? ive thinking of mayb switching for sequential artwork to save time.

I'm on a wacom pro tablet, size small, desk friendly. Takes some time to adapt, but after a while becames second nature. Never tried a cintiq, but some people prefer tablets, no hands on the way they say. You can buy a second hand intous or a bamboo quite cheap, a cintiq it's another story, but either way i would stick with a wacom. Your traditional brush art it's beatifull, hope you can emulate that in digital, and produce a lot more.

If you're used to having your hand in the way drawing on paper, then it's not that big a deal on a cintiq. I started out on a Wacom tablet and really enjoyed the freedom it gives you to play with your art. When I could afford it, I graduated to a cintiq. I've had my cintiq for about 6 years now and it's still in good condition. Graduating to the cintiq was literally life changing for me. It was difficult for me to draw on a tablet while looking at a monitor, but the cintiq is much more natural. It's also a shit load more expensive. I would recommend trying a tablet first, and start saving for a cintiq.
