This was a cover for the Forgotten Realms series for Devil's Due. the cover for #2 of Legacy. I'd never really drawn monster type stuff, so this was pretty fun.

kick ass!! Dinin the Drider. i just finished reading Legacy, and I'm starting Starless Nights. Great drawing, but he was armed with hatchets in the book. Nice composition too, love Drizzt's reflection in the scimitar.

In the comic Dinin infact fights with 2 axes, so good call there. the editor chose to leave them out of the description I had.

Ahh very cool. I just reread this book myself.

Dinin looks a bit beefier than I imagined but great job here.
