It's the bicep that's making it look bent. It's too low. Because of that twist, the deltoid is going to be back a little further, behind the mass of the shoulders at the clavicle area. Be careful with that tweak, it destroyed the volume in his arm that would be consistent with his right arm. If you go that route you can get some more volume from the tricep as it accounts for a very large portion of the arm's mass in typical anatomy.

Hammer down works better.
Small tweaks to calves and heels are one thing. Lifting the arm and hammer gets you into "kneebone's connected to the thigh bone..." territory, where one change changes all.
To sell "hammer up," straighten his right arm and open the hand. Lift his right foot off the ground to waist height, show the sole. Bend the left leg the other way, so the knee points towards us. Tilt head so the helmet spike points towards 11:00 rather than 1:00 and curve the eye line the other way to a slight upshot. Now he's a: pitcher, quarterback, javelin thrower wound up to throw.
But that's a lot of work... and, to what purpose? Tossing wasn't your original intent.
I say stick with hand down. But, since you're in a hammer tweaking mood... The hammer should line up with the forearm. Let's call the forearm position 6:00, you've pointed the hammer to 4:00, D'oh! The forearm fits in a tube subject to perspective. Project a line (mentally is OK) from the knuckle, through the wrist, out the elbow, to the arms VP. That's the VP of the hammer head.

Saw this on Facebook. Love it. I agree with Smitty, hammer down works better. Have you considered doing other Avengers. I would love to see your take on Black Widow and Hawkeye.Money can't buy you happiness, but it will pay for the search.
