  • Sculpture of Nike (the goddess not the shoe)

    Hello!

An older sketch of mine turned to a finished piece. You know, just do it It´s Nike from 400 BC.
Greek godess of fortune and accomplishment/achievement. I totally fd up the ink with too much hatching here and there until I lost it… So I used the leftovers of the brush wash jar to put on some shade(s) .
In the lower part of the bg it is more pleasing then in the rest. Still figuring things out and experimenting.

    Cheers!

ps: Of course it´s called SCUL-P-TURE

I think the technique is called ink wash, and I look forward to do some more stuff with it, as I slowly take control of the brush and the color/ink habits.

It might be a little overworked, but there's definitely some good technique in here, I like it.
