    A word we use on the pixel art forum is "pillowshaded". That's when someone starts with a dark color on the edges of a drawing and goes lighter as they color the center, without regard for any light sources. The result is a pillowy / cloud-like look, which is not good.

    Where is the lightsource coming from? Above the eyes suggest from the bottom or maybe the front, but then the pants and feet suggest above.

    But then the wall has dark areas which suggest none of the above. If the main light source is coming from a lamp on the ceiling ( most likely ) then the wall would get slightly darker as it reaches the floor. Also Chucky would cast an angled shadow on the wall.

    Here is a quick paintover ( mostly on the upper body and the wall ) to illustrate a more convincing use of lighting:



    Also remember that the blue wall will cast a bit of light too, thus the blue highlights on the sides of his face and hair. Also note the highlights I added on the cracks in the wall.
