Sentinel... Tinkering again with Gimp.

Sketched this up last night and decided to try coloring it up. Not easy for an old-school guy. A
Wacom tablet is definitely in order.

I like this one, Tony. The perspective you chose is very interesting, but a couple of things might help. The hilt of the sword has no pommel. It's a little thing, but details matter. Also, with the sword being held in front of him, the blade tip being lower than his feet would help sell that it is closer to us, and he is farther behind the blade.

On the computer coloring, I would highly recommend a tablet of some sort. Having that interface is almost essential to making the coloring process (or drawing for that matter) faster and easier.
