  • Nazi guy in new Sharpie Pen

I drew this several years ago and inked it for fun the other day trying out the new Sharpie Pen. I spilled Pepsi ll over it and it didn't bleed or fade or anything.

Looks really good to me, I'm having trouble finding anything really to quibble with. I like the mark making you've got going on.

So what kind of pen is it specifically, I've had some problems with sharpies lines bleeding out on certain types of paper that pitt pens don't and they always seem to soak through which is terribly annoying in sketchbooks.

I feel like destroying some Amrericans now. Sieg Heil!
Also, that's pretty impressive for a Sharpie. I've got to check 'em out.

I'm really impresed with them, I'd compare it to a micron pen, but the tip is more flexible. And they're just called Sharpie Pen. They have two-packs at Walmart for about $3. You can paint over them with white acrylic and not get a bleedthrough (not within two days anyway, which the old ones bled through immediately).

Really nice work, that is one heroic looking nazi. He's got that "...there's nothing I enjoy more after a good bliztkrieg than an ice cold Pepsi II.." look about him

Looks great BB. I really like the texture work on the jacket.

Trash went out this morning, so I don't have the package, but I believe it was mostly black with grey and green

I've found the regular Sharpie felt tip pens (the thin line marker ones) to be wretched for doing anything other than filling in large spaces with black. What are the tips like on these things?

Like a Micron Pigma stick thingie. Ultra fine, though it's just called fine.

The rendering and texture work reminds me of Bryan Talbot working on Luther Arkwright. That's an awesome piece you've got there!

Looking at your picture, it doesn't look like the ink bleeds at all. That's another problem I have with Sharpies. These might be a nice alternative to the microns. Are they cheaper?
