This is beautiful. I admire your watercolors. I don't think you needed those fish in front of him. But that is being very nitpicky. Great work!

It's very confusing. The porthole suggests there is water outside, but there are fish in front of him.

The colors are muddy. There needs to be more contrast to separate him from the background.

The white border around everything fordes everything onto the same plane and ruins the sense of depth. Best to not have it at all.

I love the pose. Good form But I actually like the subdued colors. It reminds me of being underwater.
But that being said I think it's TOO subdued. I think Symson is kinda correct. The shadows on Abe's arms seem the same tone and depth as the color of the background wall. If you squint and blur, you lose that shadowed portion of his arm to the wall. He need to be more separated from the wall. I agree with the halo, but the fish up front could pop out off the same plane as Abe with a little brightening of color. (closest to camera= most colorful). The background porthole is actually keyhole shaped, now that i see the vertical space behind his hips. The jellyfish in the background is the same color as the highlights on his outfit, so the one near his shoulder sort of blends. I think some lightening of some colors even a bit to differentiate the pieces of this work would make it go beyond over-the-top in terms of coolness.

All in all, I like it. Just my opinion.

looks great! i agree with the crits of it but i like it overall and only really noticed the faults when pointed out!

I like it. I know it's slightly different from your regular, exaggerated cartoon style, but I think you pulled it off well.
