No idea. (Not even I know everything. )
    But I'll do a search.
Do you remember where you found the b&w?
    I like your colors btw.

I like version two better. But that water is crazy saturated. back it off a bit! Might try changing the focus of the deck so it's lightest and most rendered where the dude with the cutlass is standing, too. Is it sunset in the pic? I get that vibe from the skin tones and the sails but nothing else.

I like the blurred background. To me it makes it feel more dramatic and action pack. Although I do think that the man on the deck is a little too blurred.

            Found it!

Anyways, been over a year since I've posted something, so here goes:

Started out as a doodle of a face, then the neck sorta appeared, then the outstretched arm... and eventually ended up this.

            Seriously thinking about coloring it.

            Thoughts?

I like the warmth of the colors. Would you mind if I used some of your color choices for my own stuff? I'm still learning to color and my guys end up too pale and pasty.

Nice work, I like the out of focus one, it feels more like film. But if it's in a comic you should probably do the one where everything is in focus.

I've used your skin color as reference, I hope you don't mind. It's here.

Shit I have also forgotten that there is a colored layer over all other layers with one color, that it looks like a sunset!!!...Its early in the morning and I have to go to work in a few minutes ;-)

And thx to WO-NELLIE that i am welcome!

I really like the version with the blurred background. The blurring makes for a very dynamic "movie-like" look.
