This is a splash page from an OGN I'm working on. The line art is by Nico Lopez. This is my second experiment with Manga studio coloring. Still debating if i want to do the colors for this project myself. Any C&C would be appreciated. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the background is heavily shadowed, but not the figure.

So you're taking your cue from the figure for light source which means there is none. Yet you have a light source on the cloth between his legs, yet nowhere else except for some non-commited place on the tunic and his left bicep.

You're welcome.

You're really at a disadvantage with this piece as the artist didn't give you anything to work with and made it confusing.

You have to decide to stay with his style or do rendering. You did both.

I agree the lighting is off, but the drawing is awesome. If your light source is top left than a more dramatic light to dark on the left arm leg and chest would really help. Moonlight is a very cool light sorce because it casts subtle shadows not seen in strong sunlight.
