Amazing work man.You made it look like Liefield can actually draw. A great long carrier for you awaits.

There's a lot I don't like about NuDC and Leifeld's work, but this is a great cover.

Nice job, congrats and continued success on the title.

Of Liefield?!? why would I be jealous of him? The only thing I'm jealous is that I canĀ“t afford to have Rhughes color my work.

The line work doesnt go all the way to the edge but the colors do. Kind of distracting. Maybe you could finish the inks digitally to fix it? I know it's not your fault. Just trying to figure out why a penciler would draw something that doesn't fit the borders unless he/ she expects someone else to fix it down the road.

The lines were obviously of different dimensions than this finished piece. It's pretty clear that they cut off on a different edge - vs the artist just being lazy. I'm not sure why there's a descrepancy though... Seems like an odd oversight.

Like others have mentioned, if possible, it'd be nice of you to continue that linework to the edge of the page.

Prefer not to have this turn into another "bash Rob" thread. The lineart was scanned and sent to me with the open areas as it appears in my colors here, but OBVIOUSLY it's something that is going to be cropped prior to printing. As Juggertha mentioned, it was most likely drawn on a slightly smaller page than the scanner used, causing the open areas. Calling Rob lazy without being in on the process is just ignorant. I'm appreciative of you all liking my colors, and you don't have to like his work, but give Rob and DC SOME credit for knowing what they're doing.

Juggertha, I generally shy away from removing or adding to the lineart given to me unless I've been given the greenlight to make changes. Would it have been less confusing, yes, but it's not my place IMO.

As someone who is aware of the process, things like referencing weapons or cars; using proper perspective to draw backgrounds, etc.; drawing the same pouches for two decades, I can call Rob lazy. And that's not ignorance at all. It's a knowledgeable fact.

                            Love your color work.
