  • Steampunk mech Sorta

    well over this last weekend took the kids to a water park and when I got in some free time I drew this here
    steam punk mech.
    10 x 14 i think.

    That ol'boy's taken a beating. Only suggestion would be to add a bit more shadow to help define the shape of the body of your mech. Because he's taken so much damage the lines aren't straight (which is cool) but it makes it a bit confusing to look at (which is less cool). A little bit more shadow and this guy's going to jump off the page.

      I love it, you should clean up the inks and color it digitally, use some muted tones.

          Love the style and the technique.

          I agree with Sketchbook though, and putting it im MY words: the damage/aging lines are "greying" out the whole thing for me. Coloring would help this, but if you squint your eyes and look at it, you might see that you're losing some needful contrast.

            Yes, agree with what was said about making more contrasting shadows to make the form of the mech pop. This would look great with color to give even more character.
