    No sweat, man. I just like to see artists push themselves. The birds stood out because they're tight compared to the rest of the painting. I hear you about the commercial artist using custom brushes. I don't think it's cheating at all if it's used for practical means like in this video.

    Yeah. Sometimes I feel like using that is cheating, and it kinda is. But when I am just doing a painting for fun I might use one or two to help with the composition. I see professionals use them all the time. Kinda funny when I see video game concept art that has brushes like that. This was just to relieve some stress with a current painting I am trying to do.. in fact maybe you can help me out. It is the argonian painting in the work in progress section. I am wondering whether or not I should set it to monochrome and get the tone right before adding color and then adding desaturated colors to it or if I should just keep running with what I have going.. Btw, thanks for the nice welcome back to the boards Spidey. Glad to see you are still around and doin well.
