Batman Vs Deadpool

Commission that I was more than excited to get and I'm really hoping they enjoy it cause I enjoyed drawing it. It was difficult to be able to find a way to show the costumes well for both of them and I kind of stretched Batman to make it work. I dont know what it is about Deadpool but he's lots of fun to draw. I wish I could spend more time on these commissions but I gotta get going on the next few.

Let me know what you think and it really has been great getting the C&C on these commissions, I'm really trying to apply your comments as I go along!

Awesome drawing period. Rendering is top notch. There is one thing though. Deadpools Right hand holding the gun is bigger then batman's hand shooting the grappling line. When Deadpools is supposed to be a little back more. So therefor should be a little smaller. Other then that Awesome again keep this type of work up.

when I was planning this out I've always loved the idea of Batman using his grappling hook as a weapon in dire situations and this seemed like the perfect setting. These are done with markers- I love to do inkwashes and I think it influences how I actually work these over but for purely convenience reasons I've been using markers recently.

Me too. I put it in tho cause I thought i'd be cool and not for nerd reasons but Batman would be the person to do this for a reason and I would venture to say its cause healing factor wont heal thru an object so by lodging something in him it stays immobilized at least thats my thoughts.

thanks my friend! oh and his left hand was an unfortunate happenning. I, for reasons unknown to logic, drew the sword and his forearm but not his hand, leaving hands to last cause like 80% of aspiring artists I hate them with a burning passion, and sometime I ink and pencil synonomously. Long story short I had an inked sword and an inked forearm that didnt match up, insert lame mushy hand! somedays I wonder why I do the things I do
