  • New characters in a new style

I decided to stop trying to force myself into a style that I thought I wanted to draw and instead , I started drawing in a way that I find comfortable. This change is making me scramble to redraw the stuff for my comic, Flying Fortress, but here is a preview of the new style.

    Captain Steven Reynolds

    PFC. Brian "Red" O'Mally

Basically instead of trying for high detail using 2H lead in a lead holder pencil, I've thrown some blue lead in a crummy mechanical pencil and started using brush inks. I still have a long way to go, but I'm already in love! Let me know what you think

I'm a firm believer that one should try to have a style. Drawing what's comfortable is the the best way to go and your "style" will naturally occur.

You're off to a great start.
