Here is a 9x12 commission that I did yesterday. It was fun to use so much blacks and I'm really hoping to refine and improve my inking skills which are lacking terribly. either way I still had fun with this. I got a little to excited to draw horns tho' cause these came out Legends type big.

awesome, love the lighting (and the massive horns rock)
looks a little like his right eye is missing? and Thor's hammer seems to be floating off the floor looking at the other foots position to give an indication of what angle the floor is at.

Ditchman: Thanks for the comments and damn your correct observation of the floor!! I cant believe I missed that. Good call tho' that is the reason I post these. With the eyes I left the pupil out on the shadow side cause I wanted it to look more evil and menacing. if you cover the right side of his face he looks devilish and if you cover the left side he looks human. at least thats what I was going for.

Great lighting! Hit the nail right on the head from the source light!

This is REALLY good. I especially love the lighting on that glowing hand, that's an excellent use of shadow, but the whole thing is really well lit. I also think all the black, negative space around him just adds to the creepyness, which is excellent composition. Great job.

great i like and agree whit the hammer position and the eye, also think the head is a little samall but overal i like a lo t the use of shadows the lines, an composition great, piece.
