Bleeding Heart
This was a quick charcoal drawing using a referenced picture of Jack Black from Wired Magazine from his King Kong film. Tried keeping it quick with energy and loose. Wasn't too worried about capturing the likeness but instead capturing the noir feel. I figure it needed a bit more of an emotional impact so I took a page from Tara McPherson and added the bleeding heart. Which, with its contrast to the cool dark colors of the image create a nice visual and emotional impact on viewer. Subbed this over a threadless, see how it does. Only has like 1 more day of voting left.
