So here is something I did Quite a while ago,of a character i created named, Anonymous. i dont think it illustrates my current artistic abilities but. w/e. I'm going to post it. first the inks then the not so great colors...
I don't know the first dang thing about coloring, but I love the figure. You've got a good sense of movement and dynamism. The anatomy is just exaggerated enough to give that good superhero pop without looking too outlandish.
You might think about costume design, a bit... There are lots of echos of Spiderman from the belt up. Also the insignia on his chest looks very Star Treky.
To the uninitiated eye (mine) the colors aren't by any means distracting.
I like what you did with the background. I've still got lots to learn when it comes to coloring, but a suggestion from me is to incorporate some blue reflections on the character himself since the blue in the background is so bright. It would tie him into the scene and bring him off the page while also adding in some interesting color combos.
