Anyhow, this was done quickly tonight for the Sherlock Holmes thread over at the drawingboard and I thought I'd share with you guys

Looks good but the shadow placement on his shoes seems off, almost as if you have the lighting in two different places directing light at different locations on his body. I think Gankutsuou:The Count of Monte Cristo style coloring would have rendered this piece perfect... My 2cents

I love the style and colour pallette -- but, I'd have to tweak the arms a bit I reckon. They're very different lengths (from shoulder to elbow).

Nick: Thanks alot for that, yeah the shadow is a bit lazy isn't it.

The colouring on that is amazing, I'd never seen it before but thanks for showing me. Colouring is definitley something I'm trying to explore to become an all round better artist.
