I was commissioned to do a cover for an upcoming Twofold Comics book, and I ended up sending this bunch of different color versions. The one that was picked, along with title and logo, are here:

This was pencil on bristol, colored in Photoshop. Characters and stuff copyright of Adam Wilson.

Love the colors and the characters. Also I like the many different versions, don't know which one looks best though

This looks really interesting. There is a lot going on with the relationship between these characters and you have the talent to show that in just this single shot. Awesome!

Very cool idea and you pulled it off! The characters are the best, i especially like the middle three. The hands are probably the weakest, wouldn't hurt to look at some reference (you probably have some friends with hands, right? )

I think the pattern works okay on the floor, but the one on the blanket is not good. It doesn't fit the drawing enough to look natural and it doesn't stand out enough to look intentionally stylized (not to mention that cinder block walls are likely to have as much texture as the floor (carpet?) or a blanket, even a blanket with a subtle pattern on it.)

Overall, i like the 3rd one the best!

I have to agree with Acre's blanket comment. I think it's a bit problematic that it doesn't bend and curve with the folds. Something to experiment with next time, maybe...

True. I did a little liquifying at the top, where the tacks created more obvious folds, but not much (and the title covers it up on the actual comic ). In retrospect, I should have hand-drawn a texture. The interior art is very cartoony, and I tried to simplify my style a bit. Hand drawn texture would have fit better.

            Thanks for the looks, all.
