Layers of depth you created is pretty great! Very dymanic action! And the fact that everything is clear and uncluttered looking with all the elements you put in there is another big positive for me.
I like the rendering on the Thing, but I have to say he's the only thing I'm not 100% sold on in the entire piece. His head looks like it was kinda pounded into his body. The rocks where his head meet his body kind of make it feel that way.
And the dark shadow on the side of his face looks out of place because that shadow isn't followed through any where on the body. If there's a shadow that dark on his face, it should also be repeated on his shoulder, back and arm.
It's already one of your best pieces, but if you fixed the Thing... it would be perfect IMO.
Dave, I agree about the Thing. Morgan pointed the same head/neck issue out as well. I had meant to fix a few things, including the Fantasticar (it had been a few other things before, in sketches and loose pencils) - one of the nacelles is way off - but I just couldn't find the time.
...I'm sorry I just couldn't help myself. Awesome piece though
Well done.
On to the pic. I don't have to say anything about the neck head issue it's been said. Still nice scenery in this pic here HAdes my man. I think I feel a FF piece bubbling inside me right about now. Good work again man.

I think Namor pounded his head into his body.
On the other side your insight on the piece is on point. Now we wait patiently for your piece.
