He seems a little on the slim side for collosus, and the ear looks like it would be a little low on the head. Other than that, is a really nice drawing and an interesting rendition of the charcter.
Used myself as a reference, minus the beer belly of course. I would normally make him larger, but I think they made hime more slender in ultimate and astonishing. I will take a look at the cheek bones come painting time. Thanks
If you were to ink it how would you go about it with the tones? Hatching or would you just color over the pencils? Not that it cant just stay as pencils Im just curious how different people tackle reflective/shiny surfaces

I agree that in it seemed to me they had thinned him out a bit in ultimate. I like the idea, especially if it winds up not being the mans but something more original. The anatomy perspective is well handled and the sheen is great......i will be looking forward to seeing this in paint........great

Looked familiar to me because I had it in my reference folder as well. There's no big deal when it comes to using references. I just thought it was weird that when someone directly asked you about it, you decided to fib.

I don't mean to be rude, but I LOLed.
Like Bovey says, it's okay to use reference even if you didn't take the picture yourself and it isn't you in the picture.
Comics are so immensely different since the internet. People have access to pics of pretty much anything they can imagine just from google image search. Its nothing to be ashamed of, its human progress. If someone asks you if you used reference just say "hell yeah" and dont worry about anything else. Just do your thing and make no apologies. Many "professionals" dont event try to cover it up they just completely trace photos. Just own it imo. F* the naysayers
