I drew a chapter of this graphic novel a couple years ago and just found out it's being released as a webcomic. Here's the press release:
The Reception, written by stand-up comedian Mario Candelaria, is a collection of self-contained webcomics that are set around the same wedding reception. Beginning this March at TripCity.net, Mario is joined by a number of extraordinary illustrators for nine monthly stories exploring the unique lives of friends and family as they are gathered to celebrate the union of Ronnie and Becca.
The illustrators who have contributed to The Reception are Zane DeGaine (Lucky, Fastback), Joel Lolar (Forever Winter), Marco Turini (Squadron Supreme, Artifacts), Dean Haspiel (Billy Dogma, Bored To Death), Victor Santos (Mice Templar, Filthy Rich), Scott Ewen (The Sundays), Jeremy Ray (God Drug), Dusty Higgins (Pinocchio Vampire Slayer, Knights of the Living Dead), and Nathan Schreiber (Power Out, 4090).
My chapter is apparently going up next month. I'll let you guys know.
