I remind you I wasn´t the one calling crap anybody´s art. I pointed out the flaws from the illustration and the elements that made me suspiciuos about it, and I gave my reasons. Then somebody is calling the real professional´s work a crap, but I´m rude and aggressive? I guess those are the constructive critiques you are looking for, the ones that agree with you no matter the insults they contain.
I totally support the artist as an amateur. Everyone had a start including me, the difference is that I didn´t present myself as a "good, inexpensive artist" until I was prepared and I had a serious portfolio.
If anybody thinks telling the truth is an attack it´s not my problem but yours. Before posting look at the mirror and ask yourself if you would buy the sequential art seen above.
What makes you a professional is not lowering your rates in order to get any job (10-15 bucks a page is a pro rate only if you can draw and ink 10 pages a day, can you?), but raising your skills and improving your portfolio.
I understand this in not a discussion forum but a post looking for jobs. Given that critiques are not wellcome I shall not post again.
Best of luck to Mr.Nunes, I didn´t mean any offense to him. When I was starting I was lucky enough to have somebody telling me the truth and helping me be prepared for this industry. Hope you find that person. If you are interested I recommend you Andrew Loomis and George Bridgman books, they helped me a lot.
