I'm looking for an artist to take over my Warmageddon weekly online fantasy adventure strip. Must be able to supply pencils and inks in a realistic style. Must be able to provide 4-6 (8.5" x 5.5") black and white strips a month. This is work for hire and contracts will be required. Being able to hit the deadline is a must. There will be performance based strip rate increases.
The artist will be responsible for character and setting design as needed and will be working from plots for each strip. Payment will be provided once a month for the 4-6 strips completed during the previous month. Payment is via personal check or PayPal. Other payment options may be considered, but artist will be responsible for any and all fees.
To evaluate your work, we need 5-8 inked sequential pages. Samples should be sent to [email protected] with the subject line "Warmageddon Fantasy Strip Artist." Along with your samples, please include a 8.5" x 5.5" strip rate.
Everyone will receive a response to a submission send. I will respond with a plot and character sheets and previous strips for the select few artists in consideration. The artists may then be asked to complete the same one strip (paid) within 7 days. The final artist will be chosen from those that complete the strip on time.
