Note: This is a *PAID* comic book gig -- this is *not* a back-end "royalty-and-a-prayer" project (ha!). The work will be produced under a contract, with partial payment up front and remainder upon completion.
We're seeking an artist for a 4-issue comic book miniseries. This is not a "pitch" -- the miniseries will be distributed to comic shops across the U.S. and will provide great exposure for the creative team.
We're looking for a true collaborator; someone who will enhance the project with their talent and skill. You will receive the first script for review prior to signing of the contract. You must be able to receive payment via PayPal.
What we're looking for:
* a realistic style
* strong sequential storytelling skills
* strength at drawing human facial expressions
* ability to draw animals/creatures
* ability to meet mutually agreed-upon deadlines
You can see information on some of our other projects scheduled for release in 2012 here: http://www.PandaDogPress.com/
What we need from you:
1. Link(s) to your sequential samples (no attachments please)
2. Brief info on you and your past publications
3. Your page rate, specifying whether you do pencils or pencils/inks
4. Your schedule availability (e.g., when you could start)
5. Your typical speed of production (e.g., pages per week or per month)
We will reply to everyone who provides all 5 items requested. Even if you are not a fit for the current project, we will consider you for future projects as well.
To Apply:
* Please send the above 5 items to [email protected].
We look forward to hearing from all the talented folks here!
