I’m seeking an artist to pencil and ink a five-issue miniseries. Coloring would be great but is not mandatory. I am open to feedback and your ideas, so I’m seeking a true collaborator. However, it is a paid (not back-end), page-rate gig.
A contract will be provided. If we look like a good fit, I will send you the first complete script for your review prior to signing of contracts. Deliverables to include character design sketches and the initial 5-10 pages for a submission package, followed by the pages for the complete miniseries. Note that if the book is not picked up by others, the next step will be to self-publish one issue at a time. I am fully committed to seeing this in print, and have set aside the budget to see it through.
The story has both realistic and fantastical elements, so you’ve got to be able to do talking heads as well as model airplane battles and big guns.
REQUIREMENTS
-You have sequential art that I can see.
-You have been published in some form or another. Please tell me about it. Where can I see it?
-Your art is detailed, consistent, etc.
-You are willing to sign a contract.
-You are able to follow the script. English as a mother tongue is definitely NOT a requirement, but I would like to find somebody who can understand the script clearly..
-You are able to accept payment via PayPal.
-You have the desire to complete the entire project.
-You are willing to help promote the project.
Please contact me with your sequential samples, page rate, and expected turnaround time for the initial submission pages. Above all, I am looking for a collaborator who’s going to have as much passion and enthusiasm for this story as I do. I look forward to seeing your work.
Thank you in advance,
Chris Lewis
