  • Letterer sought for superhero comic (backend paying collaboration, with a twist)

    Hey guys,

I'm in need of a letterer!

A new indie comic publisher, I'm a Geek Entertainment, has expressed interest in publishing a four issue superhero mini-series that I'm working on.

I'm a Geek Entertainment is a new company that currently specializes in comic production and publishing, with titles like Parallel Dilemma (published through 215 Ink), and Rockstar Savior, as well as upcoming titles that include Gary Phillip's Spy Man Shade, Tempress Society, and APAD.

I'm after a backend paying collaboration. The backend pay is entirely in favour of the artist and letterer. No cash for the writer (me), meaning more for the rest of the creative team. Plus, you get your name on a comic if you're after a portfolio piece.

The comic follows an eighteen year-old girl as she acquires super powers and tussles with shady government-types over a high-tech device. It's got snappy dialogue, a sense of humour, action, aliens, explosions, bright colours, flashing lights and so on. If I could compare the overall tone to anything, it'd probably be either Robert Kirkman's initial run on "Invincible" or that season of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" where Buffy goes to college and has to juggle her education with fighting badly made-up monsters.

If you think your style suits the above kind of story, shoot me an email at [email protected]
