Hey guys,
I got mixed feelings about linking this here, because it's adult. But this comic is a long term project that's taking up pretty much all of my creative energy, which means I'm not posting much here as a result. So I thought what the hell, might as well share it with anyone here that's interested. I post on a Wed, Thurs, Fri schedule and just finished with chapter 2 today. I posted some pages from Chapter 2 last year in the sequential section and got good feedback from you beautiful bastards.

Anyway, a general description would be something along the lines of "2 kinky minions try to find love for their master."

Really nice work.

I do have some criticism about the site itself though.

The navigation is pretty terrible. It adds an extra level of difficulty to actually read the thing. If you click on a particular chapter or page the only options to continue reading are for the pages that came before it. (Or if for example someone starts reading from page one the only other pages to get to from that page are 63-81) There are no links to get to the next page so you have to go back to the previous page to do that.

And then on the couple of patreon exclusive ones. There's an option to log into patreon but there's no links to get to the patreon page itself so that someone could views your tiers and see what's being offered. (I don't have a patreon account set up so perhaps it takes you to that if you do and haven't yet joined to yours?)

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, the site is not great. I'm not a web designer and setting it up was honestly a ****ing nightmare. A lot of banging your head on the keyboard, trial and error frustration. I got it that far along and just kind of got sidetracked. Also, you're the first person who has given me any feedback on the site or mentioned the Patreon account. I've thought about hiring the guy who wrote the plugin I used to put the site up--have him structure the thing more efficiently and logically. Just not sure it's worth the investment at this point.

I post pages three days a week on Hentai Foundry. I am getting around 500 views a week on the pages. My current thinking is to focus on building the audience there and trying to get over 1000 fans on the site before I start trying to monetize it again. Also thinking of selling chapters on Gumroad and using Discord for subscriptions.

I set up two webcomics for a writer friend of mine a few years ago using ComicPress for Wordpress. I remember it being relatively easy. Er, looks like one of them is dead now (shame since there were six issues worth of comics on that) but this one is still up. Thought the navigation was decent. It looks like the plugin hasn't been updated in two years though so there's a chance it might not play nice with current versions of Wordpress.

I've been looking at the websites of various webcomics for myself and it seems like the best ones are all custom jobs.

And that sounds like a good plan to me.
