IMDB has it listed as January 2009. I couldn't find anything on Spike's site, so who knows.

            EDIT: Found this on Spike.

Keen! Thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Not that I expect it could really start up without hearing about it somewhere a week or two in advance.

Apparently the date's been set for Jan. 25

From what I'm understanding, it's a two-hour movie (or four half-hour episodes) and it'll be shown as each, but I'd guess it's best to catch the block. It'll hit DVD/etc soon afterwards (Feb. 3), so if you miss it but you still want to see it I'm expectin' you won't have much trouble.

Lol! Well, I can honestly say I'm looking forward to this, considering what's left of the anime offerings in America now. Afro Samurai: Resurrection could very well be an excellent show. The first one was alright, and I think Samuel L. Jackson is a great actor.

I am tired of sam-mutha fu**ing-jackson in every one of these mutha-fu**ing movies with bad ass mutha-fu**ing mutha-fu**a characters!

Seeing as how Afro only says like two words every 20 minutes, and his full on crazed Sam Jackson voiced pretend friend is gone, the endless bad mutha compliants don't really mean much.

It looks like NinjaNinja (his sidekick) is back. Which, considering that (spoilers from Afro Samurai series 1)he's a figment of Afro's cracked mind makes sense enough.

It's not like the series is big on logic. It's pure candy.
