They will have Sakaaran Trooper's so possible Planet Hulk tie in for later.

Having been alive and cognizant through the 80's, I'm not seeing that.

The vibe reminds me of stuff like Ice pirates, Masters of the universe, Krull, maybe a little bit of The Last Starfighter.
Those goofy genre movies of the eighties that didn't take themselves too seriously. I feel like you don't see those too often anymore.
Obviously this has state of the art special effects, but I think the constumes, make up even the sets, seem to have a bit of a 80's b-movie aesthetic.

It would make some sense since James Gunn started out doing Troma films.

I'm a fan of the Guardians, and even I think it looks just okay.

I'll still check it out, but my expectations are in check.

I'm still going to see it but this trailer actually makes me a bit less excited. I feel like it was more of an editing issue, picking the wrong scenes to showcase what the movies about. The trailer was two and a half minutes and I feel like I still don't know anything about the movie.

Not hearing the voices of Groot and Rocket was very disappointing.

I freakin' love it, looks like they're carrying over some of the satirical style humor from Iron Man 3, this fits the Marvel tradition perfectly imo

Yeah yeah, I know, there's a scene here or there where there's a background guy wearing a helmet. But y'know what people? Nova looks awesome with his helmet. He should be wearing his goddamn helmet.

I think it looks awesome. I had no idea the movie was going to be funny. This was a movie that I was only going to see because it's a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie before, but now I can't wait. I keep rewatching the trailer.
