Well, hopefully this is like the X-Men movies in that it influences how the comics are drawn; because I swear to Zod people who draw Rocket Raccoon these days have clearly never seen a raccoon. :P

I don't know a lot about Guardians to begin with other than what I have learned reading up on the movie and interviews etc, but I gotta say just as a comic book/sci fi movie in general this one looks like a blast. Looks like a mash up of a team film and maybe a bit of Star Trek (take that as you will).Comment

Hah, I love the music for the trailer. It sets the mood of a slightly ragtag bunch of asskickers.
My favorite part is the line at the end.

The music makes it for me to be quite honest. Wasn't looking forward to it at all, but the music makes me think it could be closer in tone to Ice Pirates, rather than Star Wars. And that makes it easier for me to accept a talking racoon.Comment
