i love guardians of the galaxy(the abnett/lanning run was superb) but this sounds cringeworthy...gamora should look like this
[IMG][/IMG]
not the bland 'sci-fi' uniform they have her in now. cgi rocket raccoon sounds scary as hell...the track record(and here im talking quality not box office) for these movies has been miserable-avengers ^^;.... is the american animation industry just dead? a guardians of the galaxy anime would be killer.
these characters...hell all of them cry out for animation...instead we get crappy cgi pixelated disasters...overly complicated costumes...sucks.check my deviant pagehttp://selkirk.deviantart.com/

This is the actress for Gamora
And they haven't released the suits yet for the film. We only have a couple pieces of concept art that are pretty old at this point.“Don't think about making art, just get it done. im not biting on this stuff...again the track record speaks for itself(would someone give a dime for the blu ray edition of captain america movie). animation is the only way to handle sci fi characters...they start throwing in cgi and all we get is stiffness and pixel dust...why do they think 'live action' looks good with cgi backdrops? send this to japan let them make an anime out of it and im at the door on opening night.
now of course i could be wrong(it has happened before...little nicky actually is a good movie...i thought it was going to be terrible).

It doesn't have to be either/or; in addition to live-action Marvel movies, they can always do Marvel-based anime as well (assuming people even want that).
Also that Cowboy-Bebop art posted above just gives me douche-chills.
I don't know who any of those characters are, but I already hate them all.

well that was part of the question...i mean is american animation just dead in the water? for american audiences there isn't a choice...all we get is cgi rendered junk w/'live' models spliced in digitally or.... nothing. in fairness i do still have the comics-which again are superb.
notes-cowboy bebop rocks...that will be allcheck my deviant pagehttp://selkirk.deviantart.com/

That new Iron Man: Rise of Technovore is freaking AWFUL.
Just like that XMen and that Wolverine anime series.

It was awful and it made absolutely no sense what so ever. When it ended up with a mutated giant monster the first thing that popped up in my head was....Those crazy Japanese animators...they had to fit in a Giant Mutating Monster.www.keithdustin.com

The "Cowboy Bebop guys" have all moved on. That show is over 15 years old now.
And it's the nature of such productions to break up and scatter the people to new productions when they're done. The business is not structured in such a way as to keep the same people working together unless their individual orbits come together again.
And yeah, the track record for anime adaptations of superhero properties has been... sketchy, at best.
