I love it. It's one of the first shows/movies I've seen in a looong time that actually creeped me out. The scene with the 'mistaken identity intimacy' especially gave me the heeby jeebies.
Yeeshhh... I was thinking right how good could it be... it's on TV and they couldn't even manage to get it made into a feature film and I hear about it on some comic pencilers forum... total dud right....
But man... remind me not to watch it before bed again. Creep-O-Rama. Just too many things to be bothered by. Some of the characters are just too... ughhh... never mind I now have to watch Winnie the Pooh or Barney or the Muppet Show or something for an hour so I can get to sleep. Terrible... terrible show.
I've got all the rest of the episodes lined up to watch.
This show is currently my favorite show on television. It's full of surprises. I have a crush on Kate Mara, and I agree that Jessica Lang is a genius. She brings the show up a notch and it was already at a high level. Another thing that sets it apart for me is that, at this moment, there is not one single character I dislike.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it will pay for the search.
Pop shared my feelings exactly. I watched the first episode and was hooked. What I like about this show is that almost every ghost has history. You know something bad happens but it covers it enough and you get the characters feeling like they are organic like they are real. this is something that doesn't happen much in shows.
Lang is by far the standout on the show, this may become her defining performance (which is saying a lot considering some of her past roles). I've enjoyed Zack Quinto as well the short time he's been on.
My only problem with the show is my problem with most horror, and that is that the drama and conflict relies too much on the stupidity of the characters.
It's not your fault, it's mine, because I forgot you are stupid.

The house intoxicates the people in the house. So its not surprising a lot of stuff is more like a fantasy but is in reality. Like Hayden is dead but they think she is alive because the ghost is there and is interacting with them. How are they supposed to know if she is alive or dead when they see a person there. Like the main guy thinks the burned guy is setting this all up for money.
